In the beginning…

It all started with earning merit badges for Boy Scouts. Little did I know it would change everything!

After attending a Boy Scout summer camp in 2015 in which I earned the Metalworking & Welding merit badges my life was changed. I came home and with the help of my dad, we build a coal forge in our backyard from scrap materials found around town.

In the fall of 2018, during my senior year of high school, I took the next big step and dual-enrolled at Gwinnett Technical College in the Welding & Joining Technology program. At the end of my senior year, I had already completed 30 credit hours of college.

I decided that for my last year as a Boy Scout at summer camp I would help teach welding and at the end of the week, over 50 Scouts earned the Welding merit badge at Camp Rainey Mountian in Clayton Georgia.
